Bradbury Mountain State Park is a great place for backcountry sledding. It is only about a 0.5 mile hike to the summit, it has great terrain, and there are many places where the trees are not too dense and have little undergrowth making it perfect for sledding. The best thing to do is to grab a trail map, hike to the summit, and explore all of the possible ways down the mountain (just lookout for the cliffs!).
For more information, and a trail map, check out the Bradbury Mountain website.
